Thaddeus Beczak
Chairman

Thaddeus Beczak is the Chairman of Cowen and Company Asia. Mr. Beczak is responsible for guiding the Firm's overall strategic development and helps to manage senior level relationships for the Firm. Mr. Beczak possesses over 25 years of working experience in Asia in Investment Banking, Property and Media fields and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

Mr. Beczak also serves as the non-executive Chairman of ACR Capital Holdings, a pan-Asian reinsurance group, and the non-executive Chairman of Artisan Du Luxe Holding Limited. Mr Beczak's independent non-executive directorships include Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited, Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation Limited, Pacific Online Limited and Arnhold Holdings Limited.

Mr. Beczak was the independent non-executive director of Namtai Electronic & Electrical Products Limited from May 2004 to May 2009. From June 2004 until March 2008, Mr. Beczak was the Senior Advisor at Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited and was also the Chairman of Nomura Asia Holding N.V. From June 2006 until May 2007, Mr. Beczak was the member of the Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. In the period from 1997 to 2003, Mr. Beczak was a Director of Kerry Holdings Limited, Deputy Chairman and Publisher of SCMP Holdings Limited, Deputy Chairman of Shangri-La Asia Limited, Deputy Chairman of Kuok Philippines Properties. He was also a director of China World Trade Center Limited and Kerry Properties Limited. From 1997 until 2002, Mr. Beczak was Chairman of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Board of Directors from 1998 until 2001. From 1991 until 1998 Mr. Beczak was President of J.P. Morgan Securities Asia.

Mr. Beczak holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where he is a member of the Board of Advisors of the School of Foreign Service.

Frank K. Au
CEO

Frank K. Au is the CEO of Cowen and Company Asia, the wholly-owned Asia subsidiary of Cowen Group, which has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Mr. Au is responsible for leading all aspects of Cowen’s businesses in Asia including capital markets, M&A and private placements. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Cowen and Company Asia, Mr. Au was the President and co-founder of Cowen and Company Asia, which was acquired by Cowen Group in 2008. He is based in the Firm's Hong Kong office and currently focuses on covering the alternative energy, consumer, health care, industrial, media and technology sectors in Asia.

Mr. Au is currently a Board Director of CDC Software (NASD: CDCS). Previously, Mr. Au was the Head of Media investment banking in Greater China for Lehman Brothers Asia. Mr. Au has extensive investment banking experience across all areas of corporate finance including equity and debt capital raising, as well as mergers and acquisition advisory having worked in both Lehman's New York and Hong Kong offices in the Technology, Telecom and Industrial/LBO Groups.

Mr. Au holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics/East Asian Studies from Columbia University.

David Lu
Managing Director & Deputy Head of Investment Banking

David Lu is a Managing Director and Deputy Head of Investment Banking at Cowen and Company Asia. He focuses on deal origination and execution of public and private financing transactions for growth companies in China. Prior to joining Cowen and Company Asia, Mr. Lu was a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for China with Rodman & Renshaw. Prior to that, David was a Managing Director and the Chief Representative of China Investment Banking (Shanghai office) for Piper Jaffray & Co. Mr. Lu has spent over 12 years in investment banking with the last 10 years in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Lu was previously with DBS Bank in Hong Kong responsible for Greater China telecom and technology industry coverage. Mr. Lu started his career in investment banking with Salomon Smith Barney in New York in 1998 and relocated to Asia with Salomon Smith Barney (“SSB” and subsequently Citigroup Global Markets) in 2000 and rose to the position of Vice President with the firm’s Asia-Pacific TMT investment banking team before joining DBS Bank Ltd in 2005.

Mr. Lu holds a joint L.L.B. law degree and MBA from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.

Constant Tang
Managing Director

Constant Tang is a Managing Director of Cowen and Company Asia and leads the Firm's M&A and private placement advisory business. Mr. Tang is responsible for deal execution as well as new business origination. While at Latitude, Mr. Tang has completed or is in the process of completing M&A and private placement transactions in the semiconductor, LCD, online search, telecom equipment, pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution sectors. He is based in the Firm's Hong Kong office.

Mr. Tang has extensive experience in the Asian telecommunications environment, where he has worked in private equity, management consulting and for an investment bank. Mr. Tang was with NetworkAsia and previously Lehman Brothers, where he was a telecommunications equity research analyst responsible for covering a collection of mobile and fixed line companies in the region, developing valuation models and analyzing the operating and financial prospects of the companies under his coverage. Before Lehman Brothers, Mr. Tang was a Manager at Deloitte Consulting where he consulted with clients throughout Asia-Pacific-Africa, including mobile operators, incumbent telcos, equipment manufacturers and regulatory agencies. His assignments have included strategic planning, developing management accounting practices and systems, telecommunications network costing, and change management.

Mr. Tang has also worked as an engineer for Lockheed-Martin and Nortel Networks in Canada.He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Mr. Tang is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Management Consultant and a Licensed Professional Engineer.

Margaret Mi
Director

Margaret Mi is a Director of Cowen and Company Asia and focuses on deal origination and execution of public and private financing transactions for growth companies in China. Prior to joining Cowen and Company Asia, Ms. Mi was a Director with Rodman & Renshaw. Prior to joining Rodman, Ms. Mi worked in the China Investment Banking group of Piper Jaffray, where she was responsible for the general country coverage, primarily assisting China-based companies to raise private and public equity in the US capital market. She has completed over 30 IPO/FO transactions for US listed Chinese companies during that period, including: $74 million follow-on offering for Wonder Auto, $ 60 million registered direct offering for Zhongpin, $101 million IPO for Duoyuan Global Water and $241 million follow-on offering for Yingli Solar.

Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 2007, Ms. Mi worked at Balloch Group, an affiliate of CIBC World Markets, focusing on the marketing and origination of US equity offerings for China-based enterprises. Prior to that, Ms. Mi worked as an investor relations manager for Shanda Interactive, one of the leading Chinese online gaming companies listed on NASDAQ. From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Mi worked at Morgan Stanley in New York in the Fixed Income Department as an Analyst.

Ms. Mi holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Cornell University.
